Is Subliminal Hypnosis Mind Control?
Carol Pounds asked:
Do you believe subliminal hypnosis is mind control?
No more than the messages you receive when you view ads on television or hear music playing in the mall or department store.
You receive subliminal messages every day in order for someone else to get you to do something for their benefit.
The Coca-Cola Company was the first to use subliminal messages in 1957. Over some 27 showings of the film Picnic, they flashed imperceptible embedded images of “eat more popcorn” and “drink more coke” across the face of the actress Kim Novak.
The show “Iron Chef” was exposed for putting a 1/30 second McDonald’s ad on their show. It was invisible to the ***** eye; yet the instantaneous blip was there, ready to reside in your subconscious.
What were they trying to do? Influence you unknowingly to buy Macdonald’s!
What is a subliminal message and how does it affect you?
“Wikipedia” defines a subliminal message as a signal or message embedded in another medium, designed to pass below the normal limits of perception.
In other words, you don’t recognize the subliminal message with your conscious mind so it passes into your subconscious mind and may cause you to act a certain way at a later time.
We are exposed to subliminal messages many times in a day.
Have you ever been shopping in a department store for any period of time and realized that they are playing a certain type of music? Did you end up buying when you were just “looking”? I know I have.
I bet that store was using subliminal music in order to get you to spend money.
Do you listen to the radio? Watch television? Do you wonder why they play the same commercials over and over and over?
When you listen without really hearing, or hear messages multiple times, the messages you see and hear on the TV and radio go into your subconscious mind more readily.
Why not use subliminal techniques for your own benefit?
It’s easy.
If you want to remember something, you should read or study it right before you go to bed.
And better yet, listen to a recording of what you need to learn just before sleeping.
Whatever you hear will go into your subconscious even if you fall asleep.
Listen to it over and over again.
Advocates of subliminal messaging believe the power of subliminal influence is generated over time. So, the more you listen, the more powerful the messages will become to your subconscious.
Subliminal hypnosis does the same thing that commercial subliminal messages achieve, only for YOUR benefit, and not for the benefit of someone else.
Subliminal hypnosis gives you the ability to control your own mind with POSITIVE thoughts and positive changes you want to make.
A subliminal hypnosis recording simply sounds like relaxing music. The difference is that there is a message for self improvement embedded just below the audible level that programs your mind for positive change.
Some subliminal recordings use reverse speech. Some believe reverse speech speeds up the change process. The part of the brain that interprets reverse speech in subliminal messages seemingly bypasses the logical filtering process of the conscious mind.
In this way, the subconscious accepts reverse speech unchallenged.
I love subliminal recordings! Not only are they very relaxing, but it is an effortless way to begin and stay on a self-improvement program.
You can purchase subliminal recordings on almost any topic. And you can easily play them on your mp3 player or Ipod.
Do you want to make positive changes?
You can listen to subliminal hypnosis recordings any time of the day or night to reprogram your subconscious on order to achieve your goals.
Warning!
NEVER listen to a subliminal or hypnotic tape when you are driving or operating machinery.
Because these recordings are very relaxing, there is a danger of falling asleep and having an accident.
